Safety Standards

CORNERSTONE CLUBS -
ONLY THE HIGHEST STANDARDS

Cornerstone Clubs is following the guidelines published by the CDC and state and local health departments.  We are committed to minimizing the risk of health club associated infections related to equipment, spaces, and surfaces.  Equipment, spaces and environmental surfaces can be a source of contamination to hands or other objects which may be transmitted to members and associates of the club.  Additionally, we are committed to reducing the risk of human to human infection through proper physical distancing.  As a result, we will be instituting the following procedures to prevent contamination. These procedures are contingent upon what we believe will be the CDC as well as state and local guidelines.

RE-OPENING DATE

Assuming Bucks County moves to the green phase on June 26th, Cornerstone is planning to open on a limited basis effective July 1st.  We are delaying the opening in order for our staff and facilities to be fully prepared and ensure a safe return and an unparalleled experience.

RESUMPTION OF BILLING

Every membership that was billed for March holds a 2 week billing credit. Your 2 week credit will cover usage from July 1st – 15th resulting in a July billing of half your membership rate. July dues will be billed on July 2nd for all Clubs.  If you feel that you are not ready to return to active membership at this time, you have options - CLICK HERE to view.

Touchless thermometers may be used to screen individuals upon entering.  Anyone having a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit will have a choice to sit for five minutes and be re-evaluated.  If the temperature remains, the individual will not be permitted in the facility and will be given a recommendation to seek medical attention.

Clubs will initially be limited to 50% capacity.  In order to monitor capacity, members will be required to check-in and check-out of the facility. Those who schedule a personal training session, massage appointment or book a group fitness class will automatically have a visit booked for them.

PERSONAL
PROTECTIVE
EQUIPMENT

WE'VE GOT IT COVERED

Our Team Members will be provided with face coverings, which will always be required to be worn in the Clubs. This protective equipment will meet or exceed all local and state guidelines.

It is required that members wear face coverings when entering and exiting the building as well as in common areas. While exercising, face coverings can be worn at the discretion of the member but are not required. However, they must be worn unless exercising on the fitness floor or inside of a fitness studio.

FRONT DESK

PROCEDURES

GREETING YOU SAFELY

Touchless access is available via personal scan card or by simply providing your name or member number upon check-in.  (NOTE: we require your photo on file for security reasons; if you do not currently have a photo in our system, we can take one for you).

New Plexiglass barriers are designed to provide a protective shield between members and the Service Desk.

For convenience and to minimize contact, members will be asked to use their credit card on file or use the Cornerstone Member App for purchases.   If you don’t have a credit card on file, the Service Desk staff can load one for purchases.

For the safety of our members and staff, towel service will be temporarily suspended. Please bring your own towels and note that towels should never be used to wipe down equipment.

GUEST PRIVILEGES

ACCOMMODATING MEMBERS FIRST

We are temporarily suspending member guest privileges. Since businesses are required to open at 50% capacity, we need to make sure we can accommodate our regular members.

CLEANING &
SANITATION

THOROUGH AND FREQUENT

In addition to existing continuous cleaning protocols, we will adhere to a rigorous, deep-cleaning and disinfecting process throughout the day. Designated areas of the club will be sectioned off during the day to facilitate the deep cleaning. We will be increasing the size of our housekeeping and maintenance team as well as asking all team members to support these rigorous cleaning protocols.

Cornerstone uses EPA-registered disinfectants which are designated effective against the COVID-19 virus.

We will allow 30 minutes between Group fitness classes for disinfecting the studio and all equipment.

Upon re-opening, lockers will be available. We will disinfect member lockers throughout the day. Members are asked to wipe down the inside of the locker with a (provided) disinfectant wipe upon use.

SANITIZER
STATIONS

CONVENIENT AND READILY AVAILABLE

Members will be asked to use hand sanitizer when entering the club and frequently throughout their visit. The hand sanitizer solution will meet or exceed the CDC’s guidelines. Sanitizer will be available at multiple locations throughout each club.

Members will be asked to use disinfectant wipes on equipment before and after use. Our disinfectant wipes are approved by the EPA for use against COVID-19 and proven to kill 99.99% of bacteria, viruses and fungi on equipment while having the safest EPA Toxicity Rating. Disinfectant wipes will be available throughout each club.
