Alyssa Capel
I am a New Hope-Solebury High School student and have been a member of Cornerstone since the age of two – originally on my mom, Marci’s membership! I decided to work in the playroom because I love working with kids and I think Cornerstone is a great place to be. My hobbies include theatre and music.

Alyssa has been working at Cornerstone since June 2010. She is currently a freshman at Penn State University studying Business Marketing and Graphic Design. She loves working, art, music and spending time with family and friends. She can't wait to come back to the gym and see all the kids!

Anne has been a playroom attendant in New Hope since fall 2010. She loves children, especially her five year old daughter, Gracie. Anne's pre-Gracie career was as a counselor at Rutgers University. She has a masters degree in Counseling from The College of New Jersey.

My name is Cyndi Grondal and I started in the playroom in November of 2009. As a mom of 3 amazing kids, I also work a full time job with children of special needs for the past 16 years. Needless to say... I love kids! They are my passion and I am dedicated to making everyday an amazing adventure full of fun and laughter.

Elise is a senior at New Hope-Solebury High School and began working at Cornerstone this past August. She helps with camps in the summer and enjoys working with kids. She spends most of her time playing sports, attending school, and talking with friends and family.

After working at the club for many years now and working everywhere from CornerKids, Housekeeping, Lifeguarding and the Service Desk, I find that I get to know members on a much more personal level now whether it’s talking to them about their hard day at work, their newest grandchildren, a great new class or just a simple hey, how are ya? It truly puts a smile on my face helping people accomplish something they want. One of my favorite quotes by Rober Collier is: Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. If that’s all it takes to get someone here to workout everyday I want to do everything I can to make that happen.

I am 16 years old and a junior at New Hope-Solebury High School. I am a cheerleader, and my favorite things to do are shopping and hanging out with friends. In the summer, I am a camp counselor at Briarwood Day Camp. I started going to the Cornerkids playroom in Doylestown when I was 3 years old and I am so excited to now be taking care of the children at the New Hope club.

Katie moved to NH in August 2010 with her husband and 4 week old son, Bennett. Shortly after the relocation she joined Cornerstone as a member. It was a great place to meet members of the community and a good way to get out of the house (and work towards losing the baby weight.) The playroom has been fantastic for her son, who even reached the milestone of rolling over on a colorful mat with cheerful onlookers! Katie is thrilled to be joining the playroom staff!
