Cornerstone is committed to minimizing any reasons that would cause us to close our facilities or alter our services in any way.

However, in the event of inclement weather (primarily snow and ice) we may cancel classes or possibly close. This decision is made solely out of concern for potentially endangering our members and staff by prompting them to drive in dangerous conditions. During inclement weather you are encouraged to check our website as the most updated source of information prior to travel during questionable or inclement weather, as we may have  altered our schedule based on the following circumstances:

Weather Factors that may alter our standard opening/closing and class schedule:

1. Weather report indicates extremely hazardous conditions.
2. Central Bucks or New Hope School Districts have canceled or delayed opening (2 hour or half day delay). Central Bucks School District: www.cbsd.org  |  New Hope/Solebury School District: www.nhsd.org
3. If dangerous snow or ice accumulations occur or if a “state of emergency” is declared, CHF will close.

Following are the specific policies:

1. Early Morning School Delay Policy:  If there is a 2 hour delay in the CBSD opening schedule, (for Cornerstone-Doylestown and Cornerstone-Warrington), or NHSD, (for Cornerstone-New Hope), all Cornerstone Clubs classes,  workshops and specialty programs will be CANCELLED.  Classes that start at 11 AM or later will run as scheduled with this 2 hour delay notification from each respective school district’s winter posting.  All specialty class and workshop participants will be provided a make-up class at the end of the scheduled session (please see your instructor for details).

Child Care Provisions:  CornerKids childcare at the Doylestown, Warrington, and New Hope locations will open at 10:30am.  Child care service at New Hope is available only for children under the age of 6 years due to playroom space restrictions.

2. Mid-Day School Closings: The club will remain open for normal operating hours under most circumstances. If there is a SCHOOL CLOSING that is posted later in the day there may be modifications to the Group Fitness Class schedule and the CornerKids Play room hours. Members are encouraged to call the club for changes to the schedule.

3. Winter Storm Early Club Closing Courtesy Calls:  In case of early closings, if time allows, the CHF staff will attempt to make courtesy calls to inform members signed up for spin, Pilates, Octagon, Zone, healing pool classes and workshops.

4. Winter Policy General Note: If there are school closings and CHF maintains its regular schedule, please note that we will NOT have childcare or activities for children over the age of 6, other than the regularly scheduled classes on the 7 Up  program schedule (Doylestown location only).

5. Weekend Closings:  Weekend postings will be determined and posted to the Cornerstone Clubs web-site by 6:30 am on both Saturdays and Sundays.
