About Group Cycling

Group cycling uses stationary bicycles with a weighted flywheel to create an indoor riding experience.  Cycling is an excellent cardiovascular exercise with many different class variations that focus on endurance, intervals, high intensity and recovery.  Cycling is a great way to get an aerobic workout and increase heart rate for improved endurance and high calorie burn.  Increasing the resistance on the bikes can also be a great strength workout for the major leg muscles such as the quads, hamstrings, glutes and calves.

class information

  • 25-hour advance sign up is required for all Spinning® classes. Call or stop by the Service Desk to sign up.
  • If you are new to Spinning®, we recommend you take one of our Intro to Spin classes.
  • Please contact the Service Desk for schedule times and sign up.
  • Water & a small towel are necessary. You will sweat! A heart rate monitor, while not mandatory, is a very useful tool for monitoring and controlling your effort.
