Inclement Weather Policies & State of Emergency Notices:

Cornerstone is committed to minimizing any reasons that would cause us to close our facilities or alter our services in any way. However, in the event of inclement weather (primarily snow and ice) we may cancel group exercise classes or possibly close. This decision is made solely out of concern for potentially endangering our members and staff by prompting them to drive in dangerous conditions. During inclement weather you are encouraged to call Cornerstone prior travel during questionable or inclement weather as we may have altered our schedule based on the following circumstances:

Weather Factors that may alter our standard opening/closing and class schedule:

1. Weather report indicates extremely hazardous conditions.
2. Central Bucks School District has cancelled or delayed opening (2 hour delay or half day delay in opening).
3. If dangerous snow or ice accumulations occur or if a "state of emergency" is declared, CHF will close.

Following are the specific policies:

1. If there is 2 hour delay in the CBSD or NHSD opening schedule all GX classes will be canceled and morning CornerKids childcare service will open and be available at 10:30am.

2. Mid Day School Closings: The club will remain open for normal operating hours under most circumstances. If there is a SCHOOL CLOSING that is posted later in the day there may be modifications to the Group Fitness Class schedule and the CornerKids Play room hours. Members are encouraged to call the club for changes to the schedule.

3. In case of early closings, if time allows, the CHF staff will attempt to make courtesy calls to inform members who are signed up for spin, pilates and zone classes.

4. Please Note: If there are school closings and CHF maintains its regular schedule, please note that we will NOT have childcare or activities for children over the age of 6, other than the regularly scheduled classes on the 7 Up program schedule.

We will do our best to announce any foreseen weather or emergency changes on the home page of each club when possible.
