Senior TRX and Core Training

Especially designed for active older adults, this program will focus on full-body strength with a particular emphasis on core training.  Participants will use the TRX® for basic strength exercises, while also incorporating a variety of dynamic and static stretching techniques to increase range of motion and mobility.  Core training is a key to decreasing back pain and increasing balance as we age, and the TRX® is uniquely suited to maximize core awareness and strength.  Maximum 10 participants;  not designed for beginners or frail seniors.

TRX-Kettlebell Combo Training for Beginners

Join Dean for this workout that combines the benefits of TRX® suspension training and kettlebell exercises.  TRX® and kettlebell exercises train the body in unique ways that other techniques can’t, by focusing on core strength and mobility.  In combination with other body weight exercises, this training will allow participants to develop full-body functional strength, as well as cardio endurance.  This program will introduce beginners to both types of training, and teach proper form and technique, and progression as participants gain strength.  Maximum 12 participants;  beginners only.  No class May 25.
