Our Running Training programs are designed to work with runners of all levels – from beginning walkers/runners to experienced 5 and 10K’ers, we’ve got the program for you. Addressing all areas of running, from form to speed to endurance to strength, you will find a variety of programs and workshops at Cornerstone that you won’t find anywhere else. Discover yourself on the road or out on a trail, going the distance and feeling the exhilaration that only running can deliver.

Better, Stronger, Faster

Geared toward runners currently doing distances of 1.5-3 miles, this workshop will focus not only on running mechanics, but also on aspects of strength and core training essential for efficient running.  Combine TRX work in the Zone with outdoor drills focusing on speed, distance, upper and lower body strength – this workshop is designed for runners looking to improve, but is suitable for just about anyone who’s looking for a terrific overall body workout.  Maximum 12 participants;  all levels welcome.

Roots, Rocks and Ruts – Trail Running program

Take your training program “off-road”!  If running on the road or on a treadmill is starting to bore you, try switching up your routine with a trail run!  Getting outside in the beautiful spring weather and out on the trail is a fun and exciting way to shake up your running routine.  Roots, Ruts, Rocks and Dirt is a 5-week program that will teach you the basics of bounding along rugged trails while increasing leg strength, coordination and body awareness.  Experience outdoor training and expand your conditioning options!  Maximum 10 participants;  all levels welcome.

 

Meet at the New Hope club at 9:15am and head out together, or meet Felipe at Bald Pate Mtn. in Lambertville, NJ at 9:30am.
