From yoga to sports-specific conditioning, the Cornerstone offers a variety of programs and workshops for kids and teens age 7-18. We know that lots of kids need more exercise; and studies show that reduced play time and increased “screen time” are contributing to a generation of less-than-healthy kids and teens. We hope to give every child a rewarding experience, showing them that being active and healthy can also be fun. Kids & Teens workshops run seasonally, so be sure to check back for the most up-to-date information. Workshops are open to Junior Members from any Cornerstone location and non-members as well. After School Weight Training for Teens

Parents, are you looking for a program that will teach your teen proper workout technique and etiquette?  Students, are you feeling intimidated by all the choices on the fitness floor?  Then this is the class for you!  Join Dean for a twice-weekly workout that will demonstrate proper form, technique, and progression, while also focusing on how to manage fitness floor “rules”.  There are many different ways to get a great workout – this program is specifically designed to get students educated on all their options and how to maximize their efforts to meet their personal fitness goals.  (Plus they’ll get a killer workout while they are at it!).  Designed to be flexible to meet a student’s needs and a parent’s budget – purchase a 10-pack of classes so even if you miss 1 or 2 during the 6 weeks, you don’t lose out!  Maximum 10 participants;  for ages 14-17.
