From hard core circuit training and boot camp, to progressive strength and speed training, each of our High Intensity programs combines state-of-the-art techniques and equipment with the best of instruction. Become a Better Athlete

April 28, 2014 through June 9, 2014

This program is designed for athletes who are looking to maximize performance in their chosen sport.  Modeled after NASM’s Training Camp program, these workouts will push participants to increase their aerobic and anaerobic capacities, as well as focus on flexibility, core function, balance, power, speed, agility, quickness and total body strength.  By incorporating different training modalities and optimizing movement in all three planes, athletes will overcome the staleness and boredom of ‘traditional’ fitness programs, and see measurable results.  Designed for intermediate and advanced participants;  maximum 15 participants.  No class Memorial Day.

Intro to Boxing

May 4, 2014 through June 15, 2014

Get into this great introduction to the “sweet science” with Cornerstone’s resident boxer, Dean Smith.  Participants will learn boxing specifics, using drills and techniques including work on a speed bag and double end bag.  Learn proper form on a heavy bag, and experience focus pad and slip line drills.  In addition to improving your boxing technique, you’ll get a killer cardio workout. You’ve heard of the killer benefits of a boxing workout, now try it for yourself and smash those New Year’s Resolutions once and for all!  For all fitness levels;  maximum 15 participants.
