Tools 4 Life Day Camp

Tools 4 Life Camp is a fitness and life skills camp

for young adults ages 13-15.

The mission – To develop a “box of tools” to help build strong

social skills, self-esteem, character, leadership and positive relationships

along with nutritious eating and healthy exercise habits.

What to expect – A week full of fun memories, group activities,

team challenges, outdoor adventures, games, cooking, educational classes

and mentoring by our expert instructor.

Highlighted events – Guest speakers, biking trip and instruction in small bike

repairs, hiking trips yoga, challenge activities, cooking classes and more!

Foam Roller Workshop

Gentle massaging and stretching isolates, as well as, works every muscle, elongating and aligning the skeletal-muscular systems. Ballet Technique

Ballet is an excellent way to develop flexibility and strength as well as improve posture and body alignment. This is a traditional ballet technique class: class starts at the barre and continues to center exercises and combinations across the floor. The class is structured for the beginning to intermediate level student, but also works well as a technique refresher for more experienced dancers. Instructor Mary Tawa has been teaching dance for over 25 years and earned her undergraduate degree in Dance. She has also danced professionally in NYC with Rondo Dance Theater and was the artistic director for TAWA Dance Company in Frederick, MD. For all fitness levels.

This aquatic exercise program, created by the Arthritis Foundation, is designed specifically for people with arthritis and related conditions.  It has proven to reduce pain and stiffness, build strength, and increase range of motion, balance and endurance.  Taught by certified instructor Kelsy Husk, B.S., this program can benefit participants of all levels – from those who are already exercising to those who have been sedentary due to limited mobility.  Program takes place in the shallow end of the lap pool.
